I am a teacher by trade for 16+ years. But with the state cut backs, I lost my mortgaged home of 10 years due to being unemployed for over a year now. (I never worried about tenure because i am a good teacher; I go where I am needed.) I am applying where i have family or friends to stay with until I can get on my feet again. I want to have a dance troupe and studio, but always see facilities that cost too much to rent; so what you are doing is vital to those who keep culture alive while we survive.
