Homeless Man Writes Symphony For His Son Lost at Birth
Here’s another great story from Daily Good.
Passion is a driving force in people’s lives. For Stuart Sharp, that passion carried through the loss of his son at birth and years on the street as a homeless man. After his son died, Stuart heard a melody in his mind, a melody that never left him. After his son’s death, he became an alcoholic, lost his job and wife and lived on the streets for ten years. He ultimately became a millionaire from a new profession in real estate. During his homeless period, he met a jazz musician who helped him transcribe the music and thirty years after hearing that melody in his head, The London Philharmonia Orchestra and chorus played his Angeli Symphony to a standing ovation. His story is currently being turned into a feature length documentary. For details, visit his website.
