My friend and ecopreneur Peter Sharma just shared a link to his exciting new paradigm wind technology. Revolutions Wind is the least expensive, most efficient power supply for business, home, factory, utility, and government.  Current wind technology requires 15-20 mph to generate electricity. Revolutions Wind needs only a 2.5mph breeze to generate power at $1/watt ~ 1.5¢/kWh ~ far cheaper than coal. Local factories will make these new windmills creating local jobs. This is a social capital business with 10% of profits going to dividends and 10% will be donated to those who need wind power and cannot afford it by the Winds of Change Foundation.

The Rise of the Creative Consumer

Just as 3D printers empower anyone to produce 3d objects, Openwear is an initiative that defines itself as a collective-opensource brand. Openwear collaboratively produce fashion collections that every one can use to start local fashion production. It’s not hard to imagine an openwear shop popping up in your city in the short future. We can foresee a future in which these transparent, sustainable, common brands coupled with cooperative production facilities could finally set up as a practical alternative thanks to a new awareness in the consumer-producer. The trend toward consumer as creator has major implications especially as it relates to consumption. As individuals create more, their need for other made objects will naturally decline.

12 Year Old Blasts Canada’s Banks

Victoria Grant of Cambridge, Ont. is earning a reputation as a financial pundit after her tirade against her homeland’s borrowing practices went viral on YouTube. Grant is already a veteran of the financial lecture circuit, but her appearance on April 27 is garnering unusual attention. A video of her address, shot at the Public Banking in America Conference in Philadelphia, has already attracted nearly 65,000 views since being posted a week ago. For six minutes, the casually clad youngster holds forth to conference attendees on the reasons why so many of the world’s countries are facing staggering debt. ’The banks and the government have colluded to financially enslave the people of Canada.  Worth a watch. Perhaps the beginning of a much needed movement. 6.

“No one is invested in your freedom, because when you are free, no one can control you.” – Mooji

Because the UNDERSTANDING that would dissolve our sense of neediness for constant materialistic consumption…

The INFORMATION that would allow us to move beyond our state of utmost dependency towards the system…

The KNOWING that would bring us closer to who we truly are instead of manipulating our sense of identity with enslaving belief systems, mindsets and trends…

The WISDOM that would bring peace and enliven our sense of interconnectedness with all life, instead of blinding us with segregation, greed, fear, anger, war, discrimination, close-mindedness, and pressure to conform…

The INSIGHT that would deprogram our minds and enable us to observe things for what they truly are…

… has no economic value.
